“Why do you love cinema?”, a visual project exploring the importance of cinema in our lives.

In April 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I asked a simple question on Twitter: “Why do you love cinema?”

Within minutes, hundreds of people posted their answers. Some were simpler, others more complex and profound. But they all had one thing in common: a genuine passion for cinema.

The final result is this very special project.
